Tournament of Champions
Studio DBC undertook the creative branding for the 2022 J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions.
The event was hosted at Vanderbilt Hall at the Grand Central Terminal, in New York City.
The Ask
The main emphasis was to create a graphic that highlighted the accomplishments of the players and contributors who played a vital role in making the event a success. The creative elements had to be adapted seamlessly to transition from print to digital formats. The art direction aimed to align the visuals with the ambiance of the Grand Central, effortlessly blending in with a vibrant, aesthetic appeal.
In my role as the Deputy Minister of Brand Campaigns, I utilized Photoshop to produce the images of the squash players, involving significant photo manipulation to convey the impression of them exiting the train station. Our team helped our client promote the event through various mediums such as badges, signage, street banners, player cutouts, and print programs.
